"TOLERANCE 2003" FESTIVAL
The Fourth International Children Festival
December 2003
During the week of Chanukah (December) 2003, the ICU (International Cultural Union) (R.A.), held
its Fourth International Children's Festival "Tolerance 2003". The festival will deal with
values such as tolerance and coexistence. It were taken place in Haifa in the International Convention
Center with participants from thirteen countries including: Austria, Finland, Japan,
Latvia, USA, New Zealand, Romania, Ukraine, Holland, Australia and Israel.
The Israeli participants will be students from Jewish, Christian, Moslem and Druze schools.

The festival's events were advertised in national and local papers, on billboards, on radio and television, in the Internet and on artistic posters.

The festival were taken place in cooperation with various public and international institutions:
UNICEF/Israel Committee of UNICEF, the Ministry of Education and Culture, Haifa Municipality, the International
Christian Embassy in Jerusalem, the Austrian Cultural Forum Tel
