Description
On of the largest and most impressive archeological museums in Israel. Was established in the 30s by the British, with the generous contribution of the American millionaire Rokefeller. The building itself is an esthetic experience of its own. The Rockefeller Archaeological Museum, situated in a landmark building in East Jerusalem, houses the extraordinary collection of antiquities unearthed in digs in the country during the British Mandate period (1920-1948).
