Description
The Founders Room – Museum of the Pioneers at Yad Lebanim depicts the period between 1912 and 1936 – the year when the British Mandate officially recognized Raanana as a local council. The exhibition tries to show the range of activities that kept Raanana’s first settlers busy from dawn till dusk. Unfortunately, space limitations forced us to carefully select just a few of the pioneering achievements of Raanana’s first residents. We hope that in the future, we will have a permanent home in which to present a large exhibition showing the transformation of Raanana from a tiny village with a few huts to the busting, dynamic town that it is today.
