Description
The museum offers a unique experience in understanding Jewish identity and Jewish heritage .The museum’s collection includes unique objects from Jewish communities in Israel and abroad, from different time periods and is considered among the world’s finest.
The museum’s exhibitions include an exhibit on the material and spiritual components of synagogues, Isaac’s sacrifice as interpreted in paintings and sculptures, Bar/bat mitzvah, dioramas depicting key stations in the history of the Jewish people as well as temporary exhibitions. A new installation art on Vilna Jewry deals with Jewish identity and the importance of the Torah – advanced booking required.
